Get a look at the first 15 minutes of Warriors All-Stars

It’s just as goofy as you’d expect

Warriors All-Stars, a conglomerate of various Omega Force hack and slash properties like Nioh, Ninja Gaiden and Dynasty/Samurai Warriors, opens just how you’d expect — with a cat girl casting a magical summoning spell to bring characters from various IPs into the same world.

Hell, it could be canon (just have their memories erased when they go back) and no one would care.

Having played a preview build of the western version, I can say that this happy go lucky concept doesn’t feel like a cash grab. It’s a Warriors game all right, with the same light/heavy combo system, blocking/dodging, and super attacks. But this time around you get to play as Lord Nobuyanga (a cat version of Nobunaga Oda) and see him interact with Deception characters. It’s all well animated, well casted, and good fun.

I don’t see the well running dry with Warriors All-Stars given the amount of care I’ve seen in the first few hours. Get a look at the initial 15 minutes below before it arrives in August/September in the west.
