I’ve heard people say we have a bias against Xbox. But it couldn’t be further from the truth; behind the scenes in the wacky Mad Magazine like halls of Destructoid, Xbox One is spoken pretty fondly of.

(Heh, it worked, the fools, they will never know the Xbox effigies we burn to the dark lord Baal) *cough* I mean pardon me, I seem to be catching a cold.

Soon, if you are an Xbox owner, you will be able to buy games as gifts for your Xbox-owning pals. This has been a system on Steam for awhile and I have taken full advantage of it, forcing people to play Duck Game with me among other things. It’s a cool system and Xbox One owners will be the first on console to be able to enjoy it. As far as refunds and refusals and things go, there aren’t a lot of additional details yet, but the feature is on its way and it’s a little surprising that it has taken console companies so long to get it worked out.

So when Cuphead is released, and your fellow gamers who “only like Call of Duty and Madden and farting in the darkness” don’t buy it, you can go ahead and do it for them.

I’m just messing around, folks. Xbox is great. Microsoft is a great company, and Steve Ballmer and Steve Jobs and Phil Spencer and Linus Torvalds and Bill Gates or whoever, and all of the other people who work with Microsoft in creating fantastic consoles and games for us all to enjoy, and Windows 10 and the brilliant 1703 update, and Visual Studio and Microsoft Office, and so many other lucrative products are brilliant.

Ah good, there’s my check.
