Space Asshole
The oddly titled Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered will be heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC on July 3, 2018. There still is no mention of whether or not the multiplayer component will be making a return, but you will be treated to 4K support if you have powerful enough PC or a PS4 Pro/Xbox One X. As a nice bonus, owners of the original PC version on Steam will receive the remaster for free.
The new trailer for the game features the wonderfully hilarious “Space Asshole” by Chris Remo (from his Music of Idle Thumbs album). Listening to the lyrics, I never realized how much of an asshole you were in Guerrilla. I can’t wait to get back to swinging my hammer around and demolishing buildings. Hopefully, this remaster leads to an eventual Red Faction 5, because I would love another open-world destructithon.
