I, however, am not the hero
This contest will help you feel heroic: Win a Switch or PS4 copy of I Am the Hero.
If there’s one thing I definitely am not, it’s a hero. Whenever games present the choice I of a “good” and “bad” playthrough I always choose the good side — less because I’m a chaste and virtuous person, and more because I just feel too bad for the digital people when I punch and shoot them for no reason. I’m really just kind of a wiener.
But let’s all pretend we’re heroes for once! Win I Am the Hero for Switch or PS4 to get started.
I Am the Hero is a beat ’em up game inspired by retro gaming. Pixel art, mayhem, and good old-fashioned ass kickin’ are on display as you control a mysterious hero who seeks to stop evil — by kicking its ass and racking up huge combos, of course.
Game features include:
- Single Player Campaign
- Local Co-Op
- Fast Moving, Fluid Combat
- Free Style Combos: trample, juggle, rush, and crush your enemies into submission with your own unique fighting styles
- Critical Blink: by timing your attacks perfectly you can unleash massive damage on your foes with Critical Blink
Are you a hero, or are you a wiener like me?
To enter to win, comment below telling us which platform (Switch, PS4) and which region (NA, EU) you’d like to win. Also, tell us what’s always prevented you from being the hero. I have a famously weak constitution, which has always prevented me from standing up for what’s right and defending the little guy and all that crap. I just wind up peeing myself and someone has to call me mom to come pick me up, leaving the real heroes to clean up behind me. At least I don’t get beat up by those seventh graders, anymore!
We have four NA keys and one EU key for each platform, making ten total winners. The PS4 version includes cross-buy with the Vita version! We’ll draw winners on Thursday, December 13. Make sure you comment using a Dtoid-generated Disqus account, and that your account has your current email address on file. If I can’t email you, I can’t call your mom to come pick you up.
