PC Version only
DiRT Rally 2.0 is still set for its February 26, 2019 release date, but we haven’t heard too much else about post-launch content. While two seasons of content are planned, most people were curious to know if the excellent VR mode would return from the first DiRT Rally. As it turns out, VR will be coming to the PC version this summer, though it seems to be limited to Oculus Rift.
The real bummer is that PlayStation VR won’t be receiving this update. I suppose the upgrade in visuals didn’t leave enough horsepower for Sony’s aging console to push out a reliable framerate. Whatever the reason, at least Rally 2.0 won’t be losing a feature from its predecessor.
