Treyarch and Activision have announced, via Reddit, that the Private Beta for their upcoming military shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will run for a second consecutive weekend, also featuring some fresh new content.

The previous beta, which took place last weekend, saw select members of the CoD community jump online to battle it out in a selection of multiplayer modes. Some players loved it, some players didn’t, but that’s why they make both strawberry and chocolate ice-cream.

When the beta returns this Friday, not only will the Hacienda map will be added to the rotation, but an all-new mode will be playable, which the studio is staying tight-lipped on. Bafflingly, the beta will also feature a new level cap and double XP, which is kinda irrelevant as beta progress won’t carry over into the main game – though I suppose it will allow you to unlock weapons, scorestreaks and that cursed Body Armour quicker.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches on PS4, PC and Xbox One October 12.
