Coffee Talk headed to PC and consoles, for those too young to bartend

Yesterday, we reported on how noir-fantasy drink-fest VA-11 Hall-A will be making the leap to PS4 and Nintendo Switch next month. But for those of you who prefer Sunday morning to Saturday night, then Coffee Talk might be just your cup of Joe.

From indie outfit Toge Productions, Coffee Talk is set in an alternate-universe Seattle, populated by interesting fantasy characters. Players will stand behind the counter as a barista, and will be charged with brewing up a variety of tall soy mocha frappuccinos and such for a string of troubled customers.

Much like VA-11 Hall-A, players will engage in conversation with the clientele, using dialogue trees and their sweet brewing skills in order to help them out with a helpful ear, a bit of advice, and a solid hit of caffeine. Featuring classic adventure game pixel art and relaxing jazz sounds, Coffee Talk is described by its designers as “An experience to make you think, feel, and rest both your body and your soul.”

Coffee Talk is currently in development for PS4, PC and Xbox One for release later in the fall of 2019. A demo is currently available on Steam, no pun intended.
