Bethesda event will jump the pond in 2019
Bethesda has announced that – for the first time ever – annual gaming event QuakeCon will expand overseas, with the first ever QuakeCon Europe set to take place this July.
QuakeCon Europe will see the annual gathering venture outside of the U.S. for the first time since its inception way back in 1996. Radiating from rainy, rainy London in the U.K. QuakeCon Europe will give fans the opportunity to play the latest Bethesda titles, attend panels and Q&A sessions with developers and, best of all, get your hands on a build of the upcoming DOOM Eternal, currently prepping for launch later this year.
But fear not, U.S. fans, QuakeCon Europe is just an expansion, not a replacement. The traditional QuakeCon will still take place in Dallas, and hopefully will afford stateside players the same opportunity to try out the demon-shooting sequel. QuakeCon U.S. will take place from July 25-28, with QuakeCon Europe running July 26-27. Attendance is free, but those wishing to be a part of either event should register their interest at their respective event page.
DOOM Eternal is currently in development for PS4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
