Trick or treat, smell my feet
Grab your Shatner masks for this contest, and win a Blu-ray copy of 2018’s Halloween!
Why all the Halloween-themed stuff in January? Because I can, that’s why. I abide by no law, and answer to no holiday-based authorities!
To celebrate my reckless seasonal abandon, enter our contest for your chance to win a Blu-ray copy of last year’s Halloween!
Some 40 years after the events of the original movie, Laurie Strode (portrayed once again by Jamie Lee Curtis!) lives in terror of the night that almost claimed her life. She’s kind of a badass now, at least — she’s been spending her time preparing for the inevitable return of The Shape (portrayed once again by William Shatner!). And wouldn’t you know it, he escaped once again while being transferred. This movie kind of ignores every other film in the series, but man he sure does wind up escaping a lot. I think it’s on Halloween night again, but I’m not certain. You’ll find out once you watch it.
Anyway, Meyers returns to finish the job he started all these years ago and Laurie fights back. John Carpenter also came back to work on this one, along with director David Gordon Green of Pineapple Express fame. Kind of an odd choice for directors, but apparently he does a good job going from stoner comedy to classic horror. Who knew?
All I know is I have a Blu-ray copy to give away, and I want you to win it! Yeah, you! To enter to win, use the widget below to drop your name and email address. That’s it. You can repeat daily for bonus entries, if you’re so inclined. For additional entries, follow Dtoid/Flixist on Twitter, and share our contest post with your friends. Or enemies. Or victims. I don’t really care who you share it with, just share it!
In the meantime, discuss in the comments below why they simply refuse to take better measures in the transport of Michael Meyers. It seems like they’d really, really go all out to prevent him from escaping, ya know?
We have one copy of the film to give away between Dtoid and Flixist. As this is a physical prize, you must have a United States mailing address to win. Our winner will be drawn on Monday, January 21.
Halloween is now available on Blu-ray and digital.
