Uncle Dante’s had a hell of a life
It’s been quite some time since the last Devil May Cry game came out. Even if you consider Ninja Theory’s DmC as a proper sequel, almost an entire console generation has gone by since players were able to control Dante. It only makes sense that some of us may have forgotten his past exploits, so Capcom has created a quick recap video to refresh our memories.
I wouldn’t call this the most comprehensive recap around, but it does cover the crucial plot points you’ll need to understand what Devil May Cry 5 is. You’ll see Dante and Vergil’s heritage, get a look at Dante starting his own business in the original game, and even the fateful encounter that Nero had with everyone’s favorite uncle. It’s good enough, I suppose.
