Said to be a narrative experience
Indie developer Draw Distance has announced Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York for PC and Switch. Coming later this year, it is set to be a more narrative focused, small scale experiment set in the fifth edition of the Vampire: The Masquerade lore. The title will allow players the chance to join one of several different clans and tinker with different ethical approaches to dialogue and gameplay. Various endings will exist to give your playthroughs a unique flavor each time.
This may come as a shock since publisher Paradox Interactive owns the “World of Darkness IP.” When the long-awaited sequel to Bloodlines was announced a few months back, I’m pretty sure no one expected another entry in the series to be heading to consoles shortly after. Still, Paradox has given Draw Distance its blessing, so this will be a fully endorsed title in the Vampire series at least.
