Take me home
It’s not too late for E3 leaks to reach critical mass. On the Friday afternoon before E3 2019, an image for From Software’s next project – the rumored collaboration with A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin – surfaced online. The game in question is Elden Ring, and it’s coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Elden Ring is pitched as a “new world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin,” which, hell yes. We’re there. The game is “a fantasy action-RPG adventure,” the studio’s “largest” yet.
There aren’t any screenshots of Elden Ring (which I’m actually glad about; I want some surprises left for the stage), but considering these madmen actually did it, we all have permission to freak out.
[Update: At E3, we got our first proper look at Elden Ring and learned more about its world, which Miyazaki says will be home to a “wide variety of unique and horrifying bosses.”]
