Frogwares has announced that its Lovecraft-lovin’ adventure game The Sinking City will be making its eerie presence felt on Switch next week, launching on the Nintendo platform September 12.

First released back in June, The Sinking City is a gothic-horror game that sees players in the role of private investigator Charles W. Reed, who is called into Oakmont, Massachusetts on a multiple missing persons case. As he descends into the grim, water-sodden locale, Reed is forced to confront bizarre supernatural and psychological terrors, along with the shadows that lurk within his own mind and memories.

The Nintendo Switch port of The Sinking City will feature an adapted control system for the Joy-Con, refined shooting mechanics, and overall improvements to AI and NPC behaviour. The Sinking City launches on Nintendo Switch September 12 and is available now on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
