It’s worth it
If you haven’t played The Division 2 yet, now is the time to give it a go.
So the loot-based open world system might not be your thing. I totally get it. But if you dig the idea of experiencing a new third-person shooter with a fairly expansive environment, Division 2 could be your huckleberry in this time where you have a lot of free time.
So what’s the deal? Well Ubisoft is opening up the game freely to folks on PC, PS4 and Xbox One (no Stadia!). You can play up to eight hours of the game or up to level 8; whichever comes first, and transfer your full data over to the main game. Multiplayer is all good: there’s no restrictions there.
All you have to do is locate the free trial/demo on the appropriate marketplace (PSN, uPlay, Epic Games, Xbox Live) and you’re good to go. Simple enough! Division 2 is constantly on sale for pretty crazy low prices, so even if you dig it but don’t want to dive in right away at full price ($29.99 for the standard edition currently), you can probably wait on another sale eventually.
