In today’s contest you can win horror roguelite title Darksburg for Steam!
It’s finally October, which means I get to feature lots of fun Halloweeny titles all month long! Or until I run out. Whichever comes first.
Today, I’ve got a fun one! Meet Darksburg, a fun roguelike Gauntlet-esque title which just launched out of Early Access. We’ve got some Steam copies available, so start off your Halloween season with a bang!
Team up in a party up to four in this horror-inspired action title! There’s a werewolf, a nun, an archer with a pet squirrel, and what looks to be a Viking hipster. Dibs on the werewolf. Choose your favorite character and whack the crap out of hordes of zombies, monsters, mutants, and more! Watch out for the Revenants, though — they’re the evil versions of your heroes, and honestly they don’t look very friendly at all.
- Master the arts of cooperative gameplay to survive the relentless hordes of Infected that are terrorising the town of Darksburg.
- Choose among 3 random perks each time you level up and combine them to create the perfect build.
- A procedurally generated adventure. The entire city of Darksburg and the loot it contains changes with every run, so no two games are alike.
- Explore a number of unique zombie infested locales spanning across the entire town with a diverse range of objectives, enemies and items to encounter with each run.
This looks like perfect Halloween fun. And the title font reminds me of Darkstalkers, and now I’m super sad Capcom took it out back and Old Yeller’d the franchise. Like, can’t we even get a DLC character in Street Fighter?
