Presentation set for Tuesday, June 15
The E3 2021 schedule is starting to looking pretty much filled out right now. Fashionably late to the party is publisher Bandai Namco, which has finally announced the time slot for its own E3 stream. Bandai Namco will take to the digital stage on Tuesday, June 15, with the action kicking off at the (particularly specific) time of 14:25 PT / 17:25 ET / 10:25 BST.
Bandai Namco has quite the catalog of licenses and IPs, including fighting franchises Tekken and Soulcalibur, anime legend Dragon Ball Z, as well as Ace Combat, Tales, and the granddaddy of them all, Pac-Man. For the most part, however, most viewers, (including our own Chris Carter), will be looking forward to news on the much-hyped fantasy title Elden Ring. This collaboration between Dark Souls developer From Software and Games of Thrones author George R.R. Martin has been the subject of speculation for many moons now, and the E3 audience is ready and raring for some solid updates.
Bandai Namco’s next major release is the apocalyptic anime adventure Scarlet Nexus, which launches on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms June 25. No doubt the publisher will be sure to take a moment or two to remind us of the incoming “brainpunk” title and its weird, hi-tech, and super skin-crawly world. I’ll admit to being intrigued by that particular release, but those gooey mind-eating monsters creep me out, so I might not be up to the task. Bleurgh.
If you want to be there for all of the action, then you can watch the Bandai Namco E3 stream live on the official Twitch and YouTube channels. Of course, We’ll be sure to keep you up-to-date with all the details right here on Destructoid.
