It’s really got a look
Monark, the new school RPG from some former developers of Shin Megami Tensei, is still a ways off for western players. But the opening movie dropped today might help tide folks over a bit.
In the process of writing this, I probably listened to it somewhere around six or seven times. It’s a pretty rad opening tune, and I dig the animation too.
Monark is a new project from former developers of the Shin Megami Tensei series, and it certainly seems to have some similar vibes. Taking place in Shin Mikado Academy, you develop your player character’s personality and manifest fiendish demons to assist you in battle.
This new RPG is launching this year for Japan, but won’t be coming over to the U.S. until early 2022. It might seem a ways away, but at least that means there’s some space between this and Shin Megami Tensei V. You don’t wanna overdo it on the demon summoning, after all.
