Some people around here didn’t care much for Tom Clancy’s EndWar, and while you can’t please everyone, Ubisoft has decided to spread the title to portable consoles. DS and PSP versions have finally been confirmed as officially in the works. However, you cannot use voice commands in either of the portable versions (darn, you could have been screaming orders into the DS microphone, too).
Funatics is developing the portable versions, which will put the player in control of US, European or Russian forces across three campaigns, with a total of 30 scenarios. It also looks like both versions will allow you to create original missions for two player games.
By the way, that’s a console screenshot above, not a screen from one of the upcoming portable versions. I love my DS and all, but I don’t think it could produce an image like that with every ounce of its muscle. Hopefully we’ll get some screenshots from these upcoming titles soon enough.
