We chat about papercraft over on Tomopop sometimes, but I try to keep it simple — there’s nothing that turns off your readers faster than posting some hulking work of art that they may love, but could never create. After all, that’s kind of like forcing them to feel untalented, and then they might want to kick me in the crotch for making them feel bad about themselves after that.
That being said, I would never post this there. However, I know Dtoiders will look at this ridiculously detailed papercraft Mario hat and get a kick out of it for what it is, then go back to talking about other things. However, I’m sure there are a few master crafters out there, and for you, here’s the file that you can use to make it happen. Personally, I know better than to try — I’m surprised I can fold a box properly, with my lack of coordination.
