EA released one of those standard “the game is now out” press releases yesterday for Mirror’s Edge and it wasn’t exactly clear on the upcoming DLC. Turns out that exclusive DLC coming to the PlayStation 3 is actually coming out on the Xbox 360 as well. GameCyte got in touch with a rep from EA and they confirmed that this is indeed true.
Surprised? You shouldn’t be! EA loves money and leaving downloadable content as a console exclusive means less money for them. I am curious as to what the DLC will contain. I hope it involves a bunch of new outfits that Faith can wear. I would actually pay just to be able to dress Faith up in a bear suit.
And for you PC gamers, the PC version of Mirror’s Edge will be seeing a January 2009 release. If no bear suit DLC comes out, then I hope that one of you crafty readers will make a bear suit outfit mod for the PC version. I will love you forever if this happens.
