When Alien Crush Returns (1-4 players, 800 Wii Points) was first announced, Chad gushed over it with a headline containing the words “boner alert.”
We can only imagine what’s going on in his pants now, as the game finally makes its way to the North American Wii Shop Channel. For $8 you get an updated Alien Crush experience, complete with new visuals, four-player head-to-head Wi-Fi, leaderboards, and extra stage downloads. Also, vagina-looking alien muscle-things dripping with goo … all in a tight little pinball package.
Of course, if grotesque high-energy action isn’t your thing, there’s also Home Sweet Home (1 player, 1,000 Wii Points). This Big Blue Bubble Inc. developed title lets you design a home; choose furniture, patterns, and colors all to impress a picky client. It sounds far less messy than Alien Crush, but the cast of Flip This House will love it.
And then there’s Yu Suzuki’s rail-shooter, Space Harrier (Sega Master System, 1 player, 500 Wii Points). The pre-cursor to modern-day storytelling in videogames, Space Harrier is the only game that seamlessly integrates battles with big robots and cyclops wooly mammoths.
Press release after the jump!
