Interestingly, alongside of the newer-era gym tests, you’ll also have a literal test of sorts at the very end of the Victory Road storyline. Once you enter the Elite 4’s headquarters, an NPC will check to make sure that you’re ready to actually become the new Champion of the Paldea region, with a series of very easy questions.
Since you’re here for them: onto the answers!
All the answers to the Victory Road assessment quiz
- Question 1: All three answers are correct/subjective (walked, rode, flying)
- Question 2: If you’re playing Violet, select “Uva,” if you’re playing Scarlet, select “Naranja”
- Question 3: Select “I came to become Champion”
- Question 4: All three answers are correct/subjective (strength, Nemona, treasure), but remember the answer, as you’ll need to revisit it in question nine
- Question 5: All eight answers are correct/subjective – but remember the answer, as you’ll need to match that gym/type with the next two questions
- Question 6: Pick the same gym/leader combination for this question (all of them are found below in a separate chart)
- Question 7: Pick the type of Pokemon that the above gym leader uses (all of them are found below in a separate chart)
- Question 8: Pick the type of Pokemon you acquired as a starter (Sprigatito is grass, Fuecoco is fire, Quaxly is water)
- Question 9: Pick the same answer as question four
- Question 10: Select “Yes”
If you “fail” the test, you can just walk right back in and do it again.
All of the gym combos and leaders for your reference
- Cortondo (Katy) – Bug
- Artazon (Brassius) – Grass
- Cascarrafa (Kofu) – Water
- Levincia (Iono) – Electric
- Medali (Larry) – Normal
- Glaseado (Grusha) – Ice
- Montenevera (Ryme) – Ghost
- Alfornada (Tulip) – Pyschic
For questions five through seven, just pick the gym that stands out for you the most. For me it was Iono/Levincia/electric, alongside of Larry/Medali/normal.
