Wii owners have really gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to Rock Band, if the complaints about the Wii port had anything to say about it. We heard in late October that it was possible that Rock Band 2 for the Wii could be delayed into 2009, but MTV Games quelled our worries, saying that the bundles would ship in late December.
However, if you put stock in the words of the official website, Rock Band 2 for the Wii will not ship until January 5th, 2009 … definitely not what fans of the series were hoping for. Retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart and Gamestop still have it listed for a November release date, but seeing that January release on the official site kind of hammered the nail into the coffin for me.
