How to link your Harry Potter Fan Club and WB Games accounts for Hogwarts Legacy

The payoff isn’t much, but you can do it

Hogwarts Legacy has an odd bit of functionality that might not apply to a wide swath of players, but could be useful for folks who already have Wizarding World accounts. As WB notes, you can “link your Harry Potter Fan Club and WB Games accounts to customize [Hogwarts Legacy] with House, Wand, and other attributes and unlock exclusive rewards.” Here’s how to do it.

First, you need a Wizarding World account

To start the process, you’ll want to log in or register for the Harry Potter Fan Club at the Wizarding World site here. Via a step-by-step process, you’ll log into your account (or create one), get sorted into a house (if you haven’t already), and create a wand. After that, you’ll need to link your WB account.

The neutral landing page for the process can be found here.

Within that same process, the next step will allow you to link your WB account directly. If you don’t have a WB account, you can make one here. You can double check whether or not the Harry Potter Fan Club is properly linked on this profile page.

WB has provided a comprehensive FAQ for tech support here.

What do you actually get in Hogwarts Legacy for linking your accounts?

In terms of Hogwarts Legacy items, you’ll get (pictured in the gallery above):

  • A Beaked Skull Mask
  • House Fan-atic School Robe

From a story perspective, you can import your house (which you’ll be able to modify/change anyway in-game), as well as a custom wand from your Wizarding World account. You’ll also get some “key in-game accomplishments to the Harry Potter Fan Club.”

That’s basically it!
