eBay seller “gamertagz” is offering the full 1000 gamerpoints in Left 4 Dead, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and The Orange Box. You will of course have to give this total stranger access to your Gamertag and Windows Live ID. He will then unlock all achievements within an hour, he claims.
I also love the disclaimer: “Again you are simply paying for my time anything that happens during that time is coincidental.” That just sounds sinister. Like he’s going to mug, rape and kill some old lady but you’ll be responsible because you’re paying him to do it. Or something.
The sad thing is, someone has actually placed a bid on the Left 4 Dead one. Somebody out there is willing to pay cash, however small the amount, so that a guy on the Internet can play videogames for them. This is the world we live in.
