The back door to the Front Mission
Forever Entertainment has dropped a demo for their Front Mission 1st: Remake on Nintendo Switch.
The demo will give you a small taste of the game, with the full tutorial and two missions from the OCU campaign. You’ll also be able to test your builds in the arena. Modern and classic gameplay modes are available, but most importantly: you can carry your save from the demo over to the full game.
I feel like demos are really ineffective for strategy games and RPGs, however if you’re on the fence about whether the Front Mission 1st: Remake’s mech strategy will fit your tastes, it will give you some idea. At the very least, it’s a good way to check out the game’s performance and visuals to see if you can tolerate them.
On the other hand, you can read my review. Or just take my word for it: Yes, Front Mission 1st: Remake is a great time. It has its weaker spots, but I think it’s a great little strategy game. I’m really looking forward to the Front Mission 2 Remake.
Front Mission 1st: Remake is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. You can now try out the demo before dropping $34.99 on the full version.
