Taking a detour
Infinity Ward has injected a bit of Call of Duty Zombies into battle royale with a secret Easter Egg quest. Players in Warzone 2.0 Ashika Island can search out three mysterious items and turn them in for a hidden reward in the match. This little side quest might be worth it for an edge over the competition.
How to complete the mysterious item Easter Egg in Warzone 2.0
Ashika Island holds plenty of secrets, despite its small size in Warzone 2.0 Resurgence. One of the secrets is a hidden Easter Egg quest players can take on while in the middle of a match. To do this, players need to head to three different locations and find three mysterious items.
These mysterious items are masks, which can all be found in the middle of Tsuki Castle. You might know Tsuki Castle as the primary location you can visit on Ashika Island right in the middle of the island map. If you find all three masks, players are able to earn some helpful loot for winning the Resurgence match.
For the purpose of this quest, I highly suggest gearing up with a couple of weapons and explosives before heading to Tsuki Castle, as this is one of the most popular destinations on the island. Once you are ready, here’s what you need to do.
Mysterious masks locations, explained
As mentioned, there are three different mysterious masks at Tsuki Castle. You can find the exact locations in the three buildings circled above. What is odd about these masks is that they have random spawns within the buildings themselves.
Thankfully, these locations are small enough that it only takes a moment of searching to find the mask. Once you do, interact with it to pick it up. To complete this mysterious items Easter Egg on Ashika Island, you’ll need to get all three of the masks.
Fortunately, the three buildings are right near one another so doing this is certainly even possible in a single match. Once you gather up all three of them, head to the fourth location on the map in the middle of Tsuki Castle. There will be a location you can interact with here to place the masks.
Rewards
Oddly enough, placing all three masks in the Dojo area of Tsuki Castle isn’t the final step. Doing this will unleash some NPC enemies on you. If you can defeat all of them, you’ll complete the mysterious items Easter Egg quest and receive a loadout drop for free.
This can get you well ahead of your enemies on the map and fully prepared to, hopefully, get a victory in the match.
