Fortnite is running an Attack on Titan cross-promotional event, which comes with a free battle pass character (Eren Jaeger), some extra challenges, and some Attack on Titan-themed items. One of those challenges involves a location that’s very important to the source manga/anime. Although the game tells you that the secret Jaeger Family Basement is in Anvil Square, it doesn’t give you any indication of where it is exactly. That’s what we’re here for!
How to find the Attack on Titan basement quest in Fortnite
The Jaeger’s Family Basement in Fortnite is in the southeast corner of Anvil Square, on the eastern side of the house near the lake.
All you need to do is approach it, then head down into the basement and open the door. There is no door code or special key required, you can just get in there. There are also no required parameters or catches for entering the basement: as soon as you cross the threshold at the door, you’ll pop the quest.
Conveniently, you can also loot a single Scout Regiment Footlocker here, which is part of the Search Scout Regiment Footlockers (3) challenge. Given that this spot is guaranteed to spawn a footlocker, you’ll be able to easily and consistently find the ODM gear (and Thunder Spears) to use in all of the other Attack on Titan quests.
