How to get Lapis in Minecraft Legends

Minecraft Legends Lapis

Muster your army with more Lapis

Resources are precious in Minecraft Legends, and few are as important as Lapis. This particular gemstone is universal in its capabilities, as it’s not for building any particular mob, but for spawning all of them.

Lapis is the resource that, alongside mob-specific requirements, is used to make any mob in Minecraft Legends. This is the fuel for your army, the basic building block. And so having a good, steady supply is pretty important. Here’s how to stay stocked on it.

Gathering Lapis in Minecraft Legends campaign mode

The good news is that, realistically, you shouldn’t ever be too strapped for Lapis in Legends‘ campaign. The primary source of this resource is Piglins, and well, you should be destroying Piglins.

Taking down Piglin encampments and bases with your units will give more fuel for more units. More war begets more fuel for it. Easy enough, right?

If you find yourself with extremely low reserves, though, you can always seek out chests in the world. These contain some Lapis, if you need to quickly rebuild ranks.

Chests like these also frequently contain other helpful resources, including building blocks you might need for other mobs. They’re worth seeking them out if you have the time. Villagers also fill chests with Lapis, which you can grab from towns.

Where to find Lapis in Minecraft Legends multiplayer mode

Getting some extra blue gems in Versus mode is a little bit trickier. This will still require you to find chests or take on Piglins, but with the added complication that the enemy is also seeking it out.

Generally, it’s a good idea to have someone on the team on Piglin Patrol, farming up the resources and staving off Piglin raids to muster a full army.

Additionally, multiplayer offers a regular, steady income of Lapis, which can be further increased using the Lapis Flag. Building these costs 25 Lapis, 100 Prismarine, and 300 Stone.

Essentially, it’s rare you’ll run into a shortage of Lapis in Minecraft Legends, especially if you’re engaging with all the systems. So build mobs, charge walls, fight Piglins, and keep the resources rolling in.
