It’s one of the tutorial shrines
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has the same tutorial design as its predecessor: you’ll learn the game’s key abilities right off the bat while conquering shrines (small puzzle dungeons). The Ukouh Shrine is unique in that you don’t need to look for it: its location is part of a fully guided tutorial following the game’s opening sequence. Here’s how to beat it.
You’ll unlock the Ultrahand ability at the Ukouh Shrine
Once you’re inside, you’ll be given the Ultrahand ability: which is kind of like Magnesis from Breath of the Wild, but with a few extra perks.
The very first tutorial involves creating a makeshift bridge out of multiple pieces of stone. Manipulate said stone so that it’s flat on the ground, then take another piece and attach it (using A) to the original piece to create a small bridge. Lift that larger collective bridge over the gap and to the other side, allowing Link to safely cross over.
The second portion of the shrine has multiple solutions. You can use Ultrahand to move a hook onto the bar and slide down. Or, you can create a makeshift ramp to the top of the bar and manually walk over, tightrope style. After this simple Ultrahand tutorial, you’ll reach the end. Interact with the statue to get your reward and teleport out.
After completing the shrine you will get a Light of Blessing: which can be turned into statues to acquire more health or stamina. These function just like Spirit Orbs in Breath of the Wild, in that they require four for each upgrade.
