Japanese gaming publication Famitsu’s out of 40 gaming reviews have become sort of a benchmark over there, so we like to keep our eye out on what they say for our favorite games.
I don’t do math, but it looks like we’re on the same page as Famitsu when it comes to Valve’s zombie-fied shooter, Left 4 Dead. The game scored 35/40 in their latest issue, taking the top spot. One of the four editors even gave it a perfect score. It’s good to see that Famitsu continues to be open to foreign, teamwork-centric games. Plus, you’d look silly if you said you didn’t like Left 4 Dead.
Another score of interest is Famitsu’s mark of 31/40 for Fragile. We haven’t read the review yet, but from what we experienced in our play time in Tokyo, we expected a bit more. The score comes from three 8s and a 7, so it seems to be a good but not great kind of review. Despite the score, we’re still excited about the game.
