Diablo 4 Whispering Key location

You can get the strange Whispering Key by visiting any Purveyor of Curiosity. The easiest to access is Lizveth, stationed in the southeastern area of Kyovashad‘s main city hub. This location is spotted by a bag with a question mark and coins as an emblem.

Despite the emblem showing coins, the Purveyor of Curiosity doesn’t accept standard gold. Instead, you’ll need 20 Murmuring Obols for each Diablo 4 Whispering Key. They’re collected by finishing world quests and opening caches throughout the world. The “Hold Your Ground” world quest in Kor Vos gave me 35 Murmuring Obols once I’d conquered my foes.

You can also buy random maces and axes for 50 Murmuring Obols or 75 for Two-Handed Axes, Two-Handed Hammers, and Staffs. Additionally, there is gear you can purchase for 40 Murmuring Obols each. You’ll be given random loot in exchange for this currency.

What can you do with a Whispering Key?

Whispering Keys are used to unlock Silent Chests throughout the open world. They appear out of nowhere while exploring, and only emerge for a very limited time.

The Silent Chest may disappear if you try to get a Whispered Key from any Purveyor of Curiosity and return to the location. Therefore, make sure you have a few Whispering Keys with you before you gallivant.

It’s not as easy as getting a wolf pup backpack from simply playing the Diablo 4 beta.
