Crap, dungeons are back
As part of the latest Nintendo Direct, more details were given on the upcoming Pikmin 4. On top of that, they’ve also revealed HD versions of Pikmin 1 and 2. While the HD versions are cool on their own, they’ve actually shown off a lot of previously unknown information, so let’s take a look.
The Pikmin 1 and 2 HD versions will be available today. They only showed off the title screens of each, so it’s hard to tell if they’re just HD upscales or if they got the Metroid Prime Remastered treatment. I guess we won’t have to wait long to see.
Nintendo also showed off a number of new details for Pikmin 4. Dandori Battles pit you against another spaceman to collect the most trash. You can also finally explore planet PNF-404 at night, which is a first. You’ll find the new Glow Pikmin at night.
Oh, man. There’s an area that’s inside a house. Wait, I thought that the series took place in a post-apocalypse. That kitchen looks like it’s still in use. So, are we just robbing people?
Pikmin 4 is launching on Switch on July 21st, 2023. You can try out a demo for it today. You can also purchase Pikmin 1 and/or 2 on Switch sometime today.
