Italian cuisine in Hyrule
It sounds weird, but Link can absolutely make a mean pizza in Tears of the Kingdom. It’s a basic pie made with wheat, cheese, and tomato, but in the land of Hyrule, it’s an absolutely genius meal to make, especially with a cooking pot. You’ll need to gather the right ingredients, however, in order to bring this Italian tradition to The Legend of Zelda series. Here’s how to make Pizza in Tears of the Kingdom.
How to get Hateno Cheese in Tears of the Kingdom
To make a pizza from scratch, you’ll need three ingredients: Hateno Cheese, Hylian Tomatoes, and Tabantha Wheat.
To get the cheese, you’ll need to finish the “A Letter to Koyin” quest at the Hateno Pasture nearby Hateno Village. The quest giver is located by the lake on a bridge. She’s worried about getting the letter in a bottle in the middle of the lake. She can’t reach it because she’s unable to swim. We can fix that in no time flat, however.
Make your way to the middle of the lake by freezing parts of the water. I had an Ice-Breath Lizal Blade that I fused earlier. Making several swings of the sword, I made a pathway of ice in my wake toward the bottle. Using the Ultrahand, I picked up the bottle and delivered it to Koyin. Just keep in mind that the constant mooing from the cows can get annoying. Bring the letter to her vicinity and talk to her again. You’ll find out her great-grandfather left her a recipe for Hateno Cheese. Go talk to her inside the house nearby. She’ll then give you a sample. After that, you can buy a bunch of cheese from her and the Skyview Tower general store for 20 rupees each.
How to cook Pizza in Tears of the Kingdom
Thankfully, the other ingredients are simpler to get. You can purchase Tabantha Wheat from Rito Village’s general store for 12 rupees each and retrieve Hylian Tomatoes from Batrea Lake’s wood area southeast of Riverside Stable. The latter is in bushes all over the forest area.
Once you’ve gathered all of the ingredients, go to any cooking pot in the world. Light it up, and hold a Hateno Cheese slice, Hylian Tomato, and Tabantha Wheat all at once. Then, drop them into the pot. They will create a Pizza in Tears of the Kingdom once cooked together. Unfortunately (or fortunately for some!), there are no pineapples in the world of Hyrule. A pizza will heal 10 hearts when all is said and done. Not bad!
