There hasn’t been a really great Stuntman game since, well, arguably ever. So it’s probably not a huge loss for gamers that Stuntman: Demolition, a Wii-exclusive entry in the series, was canned when its developer Locomotive Games closed in 2007.
According to Unseen64, the title was to be the first in the franchise to feature a narrative. The likely compelling story was to feature characters like “old man in fishing cap” and “hip dude with tattoos.” There also may have been a drivable tricycle, which you’d be able to equip with rockets for cuh-ray-zee stunts.
Unfortunately, the game will never see the light of day, nor will any other games in the franchise — publisher THQ has no plans to revive the series any time soon.
You can see a batch of game renders for the canceled Stuntman: Demolition over at Unseen64.
