The White Sword of the Sky is one of the hardest weapons to acquire in Tears of the Kingdom. To get it, you’ll have to go on a journey across the map and take a ride on a few dragons. This challenge is best performed later in the game when Link has a more varied assortment of outfits.

This guide will explain how to get the White Sword of the Sky in Tears of the Kingdom.

Dinraal is the most challenging dragon to deal with, so you might as well get it out of the way first. The good news is that this particular dragon has a set path it travels. Unfortunately, this isn’t tied to any schedule, so there is no way of predicting where Dinraal will be. The easiest but most time-consuming way to locate the dragon is to wait outside East Akkala Plains Chasm until Dinraal makes an appearance. It is guaranteed to emerge at least once every in-game day.

Dinraal is the flaming dragon, and even being around it will scorch Link. Throw on flameproof clothing or consume elixirs to stay alive. After climbing onto the dragon, aim for the claws on its feet. This is harder than it looks, as the claws are under the body, and if you miss and hit the body, you’ll get Dinraal’s Scale instead, and you’ll have to wait a little over ten minutes before another dragon part can be farmed.

Once the claw has been struck, it will tumble down. Grab it mid-air, or glide down and collect it on the ground. Take the claw to the Goddess Statue of the Spring of Power. You’ll find her in Akkala, just to the right of Death Mountain. The coordinates are: 3746, 2660, 0006.

Farosh is a lot easier to find, but Link must throw on an electricity-proof outfit to protect himself from the lightning balls released by the beast. Head to the East Gerudo Chasm located north of the Siwakama Shrine in Gerudo. The coordinates are: -2484, -3110, 0082.

As is the case with Dinraal, you need to hop onto Farosh and aim for its claws with an arrow. Make sure you don’t miss and hit a scale, or else you’ll have to wait a while before you can try again. Once you’ve obtained the claw, head to the Goddess Statue of Courage. She stands in Faron, just south of the Popla Foothills, at the following coordinates: 0875, -2368, 0016.

The last dragon is Naydra the ice dragon. Hang around Hateno Village for long enough and you’ll see it fly by. Alternatively, wait for it to emerge from Naydra Snowfield Chasm at the following coordinates: 3632, -1331, 0262.

Throw on some warm clothing because Naydra chills anything near it. After claiming the claw, head to the Goddess Statue of Wisdom immediately east of Mount Layanru Skyview Tower. After giving the statue the claw, Link will be ready to visit the Mother Goddess.

The Mother Goddess Statue Quest in Tears of the Kingdom

Mother Goddess stands in the Forgotten Temple, which is a fissure in the ground just east of Snowfield Stable. You’ll find the statue at these coordinates: -1068, 2683, -0081.

As a reward for helping out all the other statues, the Mother Goddess will gift Link the White Sword of the Sky. It deals 24 damage, which makes it an okay weapon to have on hand, though the white blade does look gorgeous.
