These whirls sure are swirly
The Koroks can be annoying to find. The critters have a home in Korok Forest, and there are a few activities to complete here, including helping one of the littluns see some swirls around Hyrule. Although the quest begins in the forest, it has Link traveling all over the map.
Read on to learn how to complete the Whirly Swirly Things quest in Tears of the Kingdom.
Locating Korok Forest in Tears of the Kingdom
Though it looks like it would be incredibly easy to just enter Korok Forest from the Lost Woods, you’ll find that Link will just get continually warped back out again. To get inside, you’ll have to creep in from underground. Use Minshi Woods Chasm to get to the Depths.
This hole is found north of the Woodland Stable.
From there, travel to Korok Grove, which you can get to by following the Minshi Woods road on the surface. At the center of Korok Grove, there is a platform with a roof above it. Stand there and use Ascend. When Link re-emerges, he should be in Korok Forest above.
Where to find the water swirl in Tears of the Kingdom
In Korok Forest, Link can talk to Kula, who wants a picture of a swirl in the water. The Korok gives no location, but if you’ve explored Hyrule enough, you should know where the swirl is located. It’s found in East Reservoir Lake, at these coordinates: 3676, 0017, 0298.
You can get there by warping to Apogek Shrine and then traveling northwester. You don’t need to jump into the whirlpool. Just take a picture using the Purah Pad then return to Kula.
Where to find the sand swirl in Tears of the Kingdom
Kula also wants a picture of a sand swirl. You can get a picture of one in the Gerudo Desert. Travel to Siwakama Shrine, then race over to the East Barrens close by. Additionally, you’ll have to be fast if you want to avoid entering a battle with the Molduga in the area. The coordinates are: -2507, -3631, 0023.
Stand on one of the poles and take a picture from above before returning to Korok Forest to complete the Whirly Swirly Things quest in Tears of the Kingdom. The reward is a disappointing 5 Endura Carrots. If you want more, take them to Hateno Village and ask Uma to plant some for you.
