Make sure you get the Building 21 evidence
As we near the end of Season 4 in Call of Duty: Warzone, the missions are ramping up in intensity. If you’re a dedicated player, you’ve probably seen the challenging Tier 4 Crown faction mission called Infrared in Warzone.
In this mission, the faction has discovered a high-security room with a locked cache located in the southernmost restricted zone within the Alpha Cluster sector. However, the team triggered an alarm upon entering the room, causing AQ forces to swarm in. The team later discovered an upload station in the External Ops. sector, containing data on a security system related to Building 21.
Your objective is to reset the security system at the upload station and then gain access to the locked cache in the restricted section of the Alpha Cluster. Finally, you must extract the Building 21 evidence stored within the cache. Let’s dive into the specifics.
Resetting the security system in the External Ops area
This mission will take place in the Koschei Complex on Al Mazrah. To gain access, you’ll need a Car Battery and Jumper Cables, essential for entering the Chemical Plant and the Alpha Cluster areas. The first objective is to reset the security system at the upload station located within the External Ops. area. You can enter this region through the Rohan Oil bunker entrance. As you proceed, be mindful that you’ll encounter opposition, so be prepared to face threats on your way.
Once inside, follow the red markings on the walls until you reach the A/1 room, where you’ll find the upload station. Interact with it to initiate the upload process. This will resolve the first objective.
Opening the locked cache in the Restricted Section
The second objective of the mission might be a bit confusing due to an incorrect mention. Instead of the Factory Wing, you need to proceed to the Alpha Cluster, which you may have visited in other missions such as Bottom Of The Barrel and Spetsnaz Exposed. Deep inside the Alpha Cluster, you’ll discover a large room with a staircase leading to the L2 restricted doors, the same area you encountered during the X Marks The Spot mission.
To unlock the L2 Restricted Zone, you’ll require a key, which you can easily obtain from any buy station. Once inside, be cautious of lasers in a specific room that will trigger an alarm if touched. If the alarm is triggered, you’ll need to return to the External Ops. sector to reset it. Inside the room, you’ll find the locked cache containing the DRC Proposal, which is the Building 21 evidence you seek. Retrieve the DRC Proposal from the cache and ensure a safe exfil to complete the Infrared mission in Warzone.
