As Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone nears its end, you’ve undoubtedly come across a diverse array of missions. Some require hacking contracts to generate passive income, while others involve dead-dropping medical supplies. However, Laswell’s Letter stands out as a unique mission in comparison to the previous ones. It is a Tier 1 Story mission for the Black Mous faction, comprising only a single task. To complete the mission, you must read Laswell’s Letter in the notes menu and carry out the requested task as instructed.
In this mission, Black Mous has been contracted by Laswell, an insider within the CIA who is conducting an investigation into the events occurring in Vondel. As a member of Black Mous, you have received instructions relayed by Laswell herself. To proceed with the mission, access your notes collection to find the mysterious letter and uncover further instructions.
Read Laswell’s Letter
After unlocking this Tier 1 Story mission, accessing and reading the letter is a straightforward process. From the main screen, select Mission Objectives, then navigate to the Notes Collection on the extreme right. Look for Laswell’s Letter on the list of notes and select it to read the detailed instructions provided within the letter. Once you have familiarized yourself with the mission’s objectives as outlined in the letter, you can proceed to carry out the next task.

According to the note in Laswell’s Letter, it appears that Black Mous has encountered an interruption during an important information upload. To address this situation, your mission is to head to an upload station situated at the top of a radio tower and resume the interrupted upload process.
The good news is that you have the flexibility to complete the mission on any available map and utilize any of the accessible upload stations to resume the upload process. Although you can certainly choose to deploy on Vondel to fulfill the requested task, keep in mind the map is relatively new, and it might be more advantageous to complete the mission on a map you are most familiar with. For this guide, we’ll deploy on Al Mazrah for the next task.
One challenge with this mission is that the upload stations are not explicitly marked on your Tac map. You’ll need to explore the map and chance upon an upload station to pinpoint its location. To assist you, some upload stations have been marked on the map above.
Once you have located a radio tower, ascend to its top, where you’ll find a computer terminal. Interact with the terminal to resume the upload process that was previously interrupted. Once the upload process is successfully completed, the mission will be accomplished.
