Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, and the villain Jafar are joining Disney Speedstorm Season 4 as announced by the official Twitter page over the past week. They’ll be available through the Golden Pass, which is the game’s version of a “battle pass.” This news comes just before the game’s official 1.0 launch on September 28. The kart racer’s free-to-play for the first time on that date.
So yes, the 1992 film Aladdin is finally represented in Disney Speedstorm. Similar to other seasons of the game, we’ll likely get decals, mottos, and other rewards based on the film. The DisInsider also expects a track based on the IP for Disney Speedstorm Season 4. Cave of Wonders or Agrabah, anyone?
No gameplay has been shown for these characters. However, as the publisher Gameloft approaches the new season, it will likely give us a tease of what’s to come in future tweets and announcements. We have no official release date for Season 4 as of the time of writing. It may fall on September 28 to coincide with the game’s launch.
Disney Speedstorm Season 3 focused on another classic animated film Lilo & Stitch. Players can race around Hawaii as Stitch, Lilo, Angel, Gantu, and Jumba.
