Love is in the air for V in Night City. Just because they have some of the heaviest hitters coming after them doesn’t mean there isn’t time to pursue a love interest or two. Cyberpunk 2077 has several potential romantic partners for players, so long as they play their cards right. Here’s the rundown of whose DMs you can slide into.
Cyberpunk 2077 Romantic Partners
Judy Alvarez
- Requirements: Feminine body/Feminine voice
V will meet Judy during Act 1 and then once again in Act 2. From there, Judy will text V with some jobs. You’ll need to take on each one of these to progress the relationship. During the mission, Pisces, V must reject Maiko’s deal and bribe. For some brownie points, try to keep Maiko alive. Judy will then invite V out to Laguna Bend where players can decide just how far to take the relationship.
Kerry Eurodyne
- Requirements: Masculine body/Masculine voice
Kerry Eurodyne is three things: a founding member of Samurai, an incredibly thirsty boy, and a hot mess. V will encounter Kerry through one of Johnny Silverhand’s sidequests, Holdin’ On. Players will need to complete Second Conflict and Like a Supreme to begin Kerry’s dedicated mission, Rebel! Rebel!. From here, it’s more about rejecting his advances if you don’t want the relationship as Kerry practically throws himself at V.
Panam Palmer
- Requirements: Masculine body
V will be introduced to Panam during the Ghost Town mission in Act 2 which concludes with the Life During Wartime mission. Once that’s done, Panam will call V and players can begin the Riders on the Storm mission. From here, the trick to winning Panam’s heart is keeping Saul alive and supporting her every decision. That’s not too much to ask, right?
River Ward
- Requirements: Feminine body
River Ward, another thirsty boy, can be met during the I Fought the Law sidequest which is unlocked once V has attained Tier 2 Street Cred and completed the Life During Wartime mission. River’s dedicated mission chain is much shorter than the others. To land this hunk, V needs to be at the correct location during The Hunt mission and then stay on-site to support River. Support is the name of the game with this detective. Do that and his heart will be yours.
Cyberpunk 2077 Fleeting Romances
Alt Cunningham
- Requirements: None
There is no missing this love story as players live it through Johnny’s eyes during the Never Fade Away mission.
Meredith Stout
- Requirements: None
The first time I played Cyberpunk 2077, I forgot all about Meredith Stout after the initial text. On my second playthrough, I was very surprised to find out she is more than willing to get freaky with V. To get with this Militech agent, V must meet up with her prior to going into the warehouse during The Pickup mission. Meredith isn’t the nicest person, but refrain from saying anything nasty to her. With that out of the way, get violent with the Maelstrom gang and Meredith will throw in a “bonus” for a job well done.
Rogue Amendiares
- Requirements: None
Johnny has nearly as many romance options as V. Should V become friends with the Samurai frontman at the end of the Chippin’ In mission, players will have the chance to call Rogue. This will lead to the Blistering Love mission where Johnny can take his old friend out on a date.
Ruby Collins
- Requirements: None
Much like Alt Cunningham, V plays the passenger to Johnny here. The rocker has a wild night out during the Chippin’ In mission and makes a move on Ruby.
Cyberpunk 2077 Joytoys
Charlene Fox & Dusty Lowe
Charlene and Dusty are Joytoys that can be found on Jig-Jig Street in Westbrook. For a mere €$100, V can employ their services.
Brittany Hayes & Logan Scott
Brittany and Logan’s services become available after V completes the Off the Leash mission. Both can be found in Japantown’s club, Dark Matter. Hiring them costs €$3000.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Romances
Unfortunately, for those like myself, Idris Elba’s Solomon Reed character is not a romance option. The secret agent with two first names isn’t unique in that regard as the DLC fails to add any new characters seeking loving. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
