It was previously announced that PlayStation players would get first dibs on this beta if they pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3, so that goes without repeating. We also got confirmation the beta would eventually make its way to PC and Xbox. Now we have the exact dates and times the multiplayer beta for Modern Warfare 3 will be available.

Minutes to midnight

If you pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3 on PS4 or PS5, as stated above, you’ll be among the first invited to jump into the multiplayer beta. It should be unlocked for you from October 6 (Friday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST until October 8 (Sunday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST

For those PlayStation fans who didn’t pre-order Modern Warfare 3, you’re up next — you can play the beta from October 8 (Sunday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST until October 10 (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST.

OK — now it’s time for everyone else (kind of). If you pre-ordered the game on PC or Xbox, it’s your turn to take a spin from October 12 (Thursday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST until October 14 (Saturday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST. It’s important to note that PlayStation players can also partake during this time.

And lastly, we have a period where the beta will truly be accessible to anyone and everyone, regardless of if you pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3 or not. If this sounds like you, give the multiplayer beta a shot from October 14 (Saturday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST until October 16 (Monday) at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST

We hope that helps you to make the most of this — admittedly short-lived — beta. For more on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, check back with Destructoid in the lead-up to its launch.
