Warzone 2.0 Season 6 arriving at the end of the year gave the Modern Warfare 2 team all the excuse needed to go for an extra spooky theme. Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise is here, chilling and killing alongside Spawn and Skeletor. It’s a wacky one. But it’s not just operators joining the fray. MW2: Warzone 2 Season 6 also has the guns, and folks likely want to know how to get that DOOM bundle that’s making waves.
As it is with most seasons, there are some items you can earn and others you can’t. The DOOM bundle is reserved for the latter camp. With MW2: Warzone 2 Season 6, the only way to get the DOOM bundle in your greedy, blooded mitts is by purchasing it via the in-game shop.
What comes in the MW2 DOOM bundle?
For 1,800 COD points, you get two weapon blueprints and a host of extra DOOM-flavored goods. Which probably tastes like blood and gunpowder. It comes with the blueprints for the classic Super Shotgun and Chainsaw melee weapon. You’ll also get stickers, a charm, a gun screen, a loading screen, and four DOOM emblems. Many of these are themed after classic ’90s DOOM as opposed to 2016 and beyond. As it should be, personally. It’s a shame the pack doesn’t come with the Slayer as an operator. But with the Super Shotgun, you’ll certainly feel like him.
According to some DOOM enjoyers on Reddit, the Super Shotgun lives up to its reputation. It can one-hit kill enemies close enough, which looks to be around medium range in the clips I’ve seen. Granted, as a boomer Doomer myself, I believe that’s what it should do. But in a PvP situation? Well, I’ll leave that discussion up to those who got splattered. Regardless, of how anyone feels about its lethality, can we take a moment to respect that low-animation reload? Chef’s kiss.
