Taki-ihaban Shrine is one of the more difficult shrines to find in Tears of the Kingdom. In fact, it’s so hidden away that you’re unlikely to stumble across it by yourself at all. That’s why Taki-ihaban is all about actually finding the shrine rather than completing it once you get there. So, let’s dive into the arduous journey to find and then complete Taki-ihaban Shrine.
How to find and complete Taki-ihaban Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom
Taki-ihaban Shrine is located (sort of) at the foot of Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower in the Hyrule Ridge region of Hyrule. Naturally, that makes Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower the closest fast travel point for most players, so head there to begin your search. You can see the shrine next to the tower on the map above, but that’s not exactly where you will find it.
When you’re at the base of the tower, you need to find Lindor’s Brow Cave, as that’s where the shrine actually is. To start, cross the moat and head to the eastern side of the cliffs that surround the tower. In the distance, you should be able to see a large hole in the ground at the edge of one of the cliffs below. This is where you need to go to find the cave entrance. See the screenshot above to get an idea of what to look for.
Once you’ve found the hole in the ground, follow it down to find the actual entrance to Lindor’s Brow Cave. The entrance to the cave is a sizeable drop into a pond at the bottom. You can glide or fall naturally, but be careful of rocky outcrops that can kill Link on the way down.
After landing in the water, hop out and follow the cave path around the corner. Almost immediately, you’ll come across the shrine in the first large open cavern. There’s a lot more to explore in Lindor’s Brow Cave, but you can get to that after. For now, make your way across the cavern and head inside the shrine.
Taki-ihaban Shrine is part of the Rauru’s Blessing category of shrines, which means getting to the shrine was the actual quest. Once you’re inside, all you need to do is collect the Light of Blessing to check it off your shrine list. However, don’t forget to open the chest on the way. It contains a Large Zonai charge, which will come in handy on your adventures.
That’s it! Taki-ihaban Shrine is complete!
