How to unlock and evolve the Glass Fandango in Vampire Survivors

I can hear you, Glass Fandango

A new weapon in Vampire Survivors means a new evolution, and we’re getting that in the form of the Glass Fandango and Celestial Voulge. This short-range (at first) spear-like weapon hails from the Whiteout update (released in October of 2023), and is incredibly easy to find and evolve. Here’s how.

Where to find the Glass Fandango

The Glass Fandango is inside a cave in the new Whiteout stage. If you haven’t unlocked Whiteout yet, we have a handy guide available!

After booting up Whiteout, open your map and look for the above ice spear icon. Head to the cave and walk inside to instantly get and equip the weapon.

Note that the entrance to the cave might be full of enemies, so take it slow (it behooves you to get the Glass Fangando early before enemies get too tough). Make sure you walk out of the cave quickly so you don’t get boxed inside by enemies.

How to evolve the Glass Fandango

You don’t need to look up 50 guides to evolve the Glass Fandango from some random relic: all you need to do is level the Glass Fandango to 8, and the Wings item to 5. If you haven’t completed a weapon evolution before, you’ll need to level up the aforementioned pieces of gear, then grab a chest from an elite enemy. That’s it!

The evolved Glass Fandango will become the Celestial Voulge, which will provide the following buffs to the original weapon: “Might deal critical damage and freeze enemies. Turns Orologions into Starry Heavens.” It’s a massive upgrade on the original, providing more damage and maneuverability (which you’ll need on the Whiteout stage, with later beefy waves). It’ll also inherently spawn Starry Heavens instead of Orologions (the clocks), which are a new attack-based power-up.
