Palia has recently introduced a thrilling new feature called the Obstacle Course in their 0.170 update. This exciting addition takes players on a parkour-style journey through a location known as ‘The Tower.’ In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to reach, play, and conquer the Obstacle Course in Palia.
How to reach Obstacle Course in Palia
To embark on your Obstacle Course adventure, you first need to make your way to the Black Market, located under Zeki’s General Store. However, gaining access to the Black Market requires you to reach Friendship level two with Zeki and complete a quest. Once you’ve achieved this, you can access the market through either the sewer grate near Remembrance Beach or the bookshelf in Zeki’s shop.
Once inside the Black Market, keep an eye out for a special Arcade Machine situated near a boiler. Unlike the other arcade machines in the market, this one appears to be turned off. Approach the machine and interact with it by pressing the F key. As you do so, you’ll find yourself at the beginning of the Obstacle Course.
Navigating the Obstacle Course
Once you find yourself on the Obstacle Course, get ready for a challenging climb. The course is constructed using blocks of stones, tables, chairs, beds, and various objects found throughout the game. Prepare to engage in some serious platforming as you traverse terraces and overcome obstacles.
Keep an eye on your stamina bar while ascending the course. Climbing up terraces can be physically demanding, so make sure you manage your stamina wisely to avoid running out of energy at crucial moments. One thing to note is that there are no waypoints or checkpoints within the course. If you happen to fall, you will be transported back to the beginning, and your progress will be reset.
Rewards and hidden treasures
While the Obstacle Course may be challenging, it offers enticing rewards for those who persevere. Scattered throughout the course, you will find treasure chests containing valuable Zeki Coins, the in-game currency. You can use these coins to purchase various items and upgrades, enhancing your gaming experience in Palia.
Additionally, hidden letters are waiting to be discovered within the furniture items. These Found Letters may hold valuable information or unlock further quests and secrets. Keep your eyes peeled for these hidden gems as you navigate your way through the course.
