A Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Game Pass debut would be a perfect way to jump into this sleek-looking platformer. However, recent Ubisoft games have forgone the service; here’s what we know for now.
Will there be a Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Game Pass day one release?
As of the time of writing, neither the publisher Ubisoft nor Xbox has confirmed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Ubisoft does have some legacy titles on Xbox Game Pass currently, including Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Some of its recent games like The Crew: Motorfest and upcoming titles such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora aren’t scheduled to release for the service either.
Is there a subscription service you can use to get Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
Ubisoft does have a service that lets you play its games on day one called Ubisoft+. For $14.99 a month, you can access the latest titles from the French publisher. For example, the recently released Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on the service. You can only play these games on PC currently, however. Hopefully, it will expand to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in the future.
Nevertheless, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on January 18, 2024. According to the Ubisoft website, you can get three days of early access through Ubisoft+. If you decide to preorder the game, however, you’ll get an exclusive Warrior Within-inspired outfit for the new protagonist Sargon.
