Are you an avid Apex Legends player who has accounts on multiple platforms? If so, you’ll be happy to know that with the Season 19 update, Apex Legends has finally introduced cross-progression. This means that you can now merge all your accounts from PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or Switch into one, allowing you to access your progress and items across all platforms. Here’s how to merge accounts in Apex Legends.

How to merge accounts for Cross Progression in Apex Legends

As you start the game, you will notice an in-game message regarding the accounts merging process. Follow the instructions on the screen to proceed. While merging the accounts, you will get to choose your main account. This account will be considered the primary one, and all the progress and items from your other accounts will be merged into it. Once you have done so, your skins, heirlooms, and currency will be combined into a single account.

  • Note: Any account created after Oct 26th for the same EA account cannot be merged.

How cross-progression and account merging work in Apex Legends

Electronic Arts have shared an article explaining how cross-progression works in Apex Legends. According to EA, the following items will be merged:

CONTENT & COSMETICS

PlayStation PS+ Pack Items 
XboxXbox Founder’s Edition
Xbox Gold Items
Nintendo P.A.T.H. Legendary Skin 

Currency

Apex Coins • PC/Xbox/PlayStation: Same across platforms.
• Nintendo: Purchases and earned remain exclusive to Nintendo.
Crafting Materials, Legend Tokens, Heirloom ShardsEA Account bound: Same across platforms.

Progression

1st Party Platform Achievements/TrophiesLocked to each platform, but progress-based achievements/trophies will unlock after accounts are linked.
Ranked LeaderboardsLocked to each platform.
Completed Challenges, Prize Tracks, XPEA Account bound: Same across platforms.

Remember, stats cannot be merged across platforms. Therefore, your primary profile’s stats will be the default, and any badges tied to stats from other profiles merged into your EA Account may not be available.
