There’s a cool Daredevil easter egg in Spider-Man 2 if you’re looking closely enough. Strangely, it’s not in Hell’s Kitchen, despite the majority of the Netflix show taking place there.
Daredevil easter egg location in Spider-Man 2
The Daredevil reference you’re looking for is located in the Upper West Side. On the map, look for the building slanting to the right. Then go north two blocks and look left. There should be an alleyway with a giant red flag on the building. It’s near Friar’s Coffee and Chain Street (look at the road sign).
Once you’re on the right alleyway, go to the building with the red flag and look through the barred window. You’ll notice swords and guns in the room. There’s also insignia that some fans believe is connected to the villainous organization The Hand.
Some fans also noticed that the plaque that had Matt Murdock’s name on it at his law office was completely blank; it seemed to be relocated. The sign is now back in the game after a patch, however.
Is a Daredevil game coming?
Some are hoping that a game featuring Daredevil is coming from Insomniac or another PlayStation studio. There’s also a strong possibility we’ll see Doctor Strange in the future. One of the missions revolves around the Sanctum Sanctorium after the Black Cat steals a magical object. Miles reclaims it and then gets thanked by Wong with a note.
