Some weapons in Modern Warfare 3 feel alright, others feel pretty good, and then you have an overpowered, do-it-all weapon like the Holger 556. If you want to take full advantage of its unstoppable firepower, here are the best Holger 556 loadouts for you.
Best Holger 556 Loadout for MW3
To be clear, the Holger 556 is one of the most versatile weapons in the game. It may be an assault rifle, but it has the potential to function more like an SMG hybrid or even a long-range beast. As such, you want to mold it to fit different roles for multiplayer than in Warzone.
Here is the best Holger 556 loadout for MW3:
- Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5
- Rear Grip: Intruder Grip
- Stock: RB Addle Assault Stock
- Optic: This is purely up to personal preference. That said, I prefer the Cronen Mini Pro and MK. 3 Reflector for their simplicity.
- Ammo: 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds
The main purpose of this multiplayer loadout is to make the weapon more suitable for the multiplayer maps. They have a lot of long lanes but not nearly on the level of battle royale. As such, you need a bit more fire rate and speed to keep up with the swifter weapons out there like SMGs. This ensures you will do well at mid-ranges but also when you need to fight someone in close combat.
Best Holger 556 Loadout for Warzone
Warzone has a very different vibe to it than the regular multiplayer modes. As such, you shouldn’t go into it with the same loadout you would use on multiplayer maps like Terminal and Skidrow. Instead, you want to focus on loadouts better suited to the massive battle royale map of Urzikstan with its up to 150 players.
- Barrel: Chrios-6 Match
- Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Hands
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Optic: Again, this one is up to you. That said, I suggest a longer-range optic like the Aim OP-V4
- Ammo: 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds or 5.56 High Velocity Rounds
This particular build reduces some of the recoil issues with this weapon so its aiming feels quite easy to handle, even at further ranges. In addition, the range improves with this loadout so you can fire back at enemies from across the various named locations on the Urzikstan map. You lose some of the speed up close, but you can make up for this with a faster secondary weapon.
